I sold my EVGA GTX 980 ACX 2.0 graphics card 2 months back. Last night when the buyer was streaming, both his monitors cut out and he had to restart to get his PC working again. He can log on, but as soon as he enters his password and his PC is about to load all of his applications, his monitors lose signal again. He claims he never overclocked the card and only used it for gaming. He also apparently tried to roll back on the drivers in safe mode and some other person said that you shouldn't do it in Safe mode and blah blah.

I will try and get a list of his PC specs to help, all i know is that he has overclocked his CPU, not sure if that could also help in the issue or not.

What can you guys suggest to resolving the issue he is facing with his card.

Have him use [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and follow the prompts to remove all graphics drivers before reinstalling

If it doesn't work, the card is in warranty

Video is now on public.

He used that to try uninstall and install the drivers again. He says that he can use his computer in Safe mode using the GPU, but when he comes out of it. It doesn't work.
