Hello I recently built a mini itx with the following specs
CPU - Intel core i5 - 4460 LGA1150
GPU - Zotac Geforce GTX 970
Power Supply - EVGA 500w 80 plus
Storage - Seagate 1tb Hard drive
Motherboard - Asus H81i plus/csm
Ram - Crucial Ballistix Sport (Black)
Case - Thermaltake Mini Chases Core
Issue:
After setting up the PC and looking numerous times to see if the cables were correctly in place I attempted to press the power button on my case to see if the PC would turn on....Nothing!
Before you ask, yes the power supple was on and plugged in and there were absolutely no gaps in any of the cables what so ever. The motherboard did have power going to it however none of the fans started nor did any display come up!
I have been trying all night to troubleshoot watching countless videos and going through countless foruns. I just really really hope that someone on here can help, I'm willing to take pictures if needed or start building from scratch again if needed.

Does the power supply have enough wattage to support your motherboard, hardware and peripherals.

When I see this happen, it's often the front panel connectors used incorrectly. You can disconnect the power button, reset button, and LEDs and use something metal to short the two power button pins. The text is small and people almost always get it wrong.

I fixed it! I would really love to give feedback on how i fixed it but all i can say is I took everything apart and started from scratch and when i built it the second time it worked!
