I've tried installing kali a few times before but yet to be successful.

Googled this issue and have tried:

Executing shell and mounting the USB stick as the CDROM:
Mount /dev/sdb1 /cdrom
or
Mount -t vfat /dev/sdb1 /cdrom

Both seem to work but the install still doesn't progress.

Then if i play with it too much it will say something like 'media busy'.

Also tried the removal of USB trick and it still doesn't work.

I've also tried creating the bootable USB again- using the same 8gb USB3 pen.

Any genius know how to get past this step and can offer some advice?

Thanks

Trying to install from USB. I tried it again today but still couldn't do it.

I even tried booting into the Live option and installing it from there but I couldn't boot into anything!

Any ideas?

Will probs try redownload the ISO onto a new USB and try again.
