I'm in year 10 and have chosen to do construction as one of my GCSEs, I'm thinking about switching over to art. If you had the choice to do art or construction what one would you take? The art teacher is also my favorite teacher so that also pushes me to art.

I would go with art. But honestly it's whatever makes you happy man.

Im not a big fan of either but I'd go with art due to the fact that it is generally easier and probably will pay more

I done art personally and didn't like it. Pick the subject that you most enjoy.

Not sure why everyone thinks art is easier, is it just because it isn't manual labor? It is still tough work, I do graphic design full time. Also, I would bet carpentry would pay much better straight out of school compared to design, I can almost guarantee it. On the other hand, there are a lot less carpentry jobs.

I was proud when I had a C Grade in Art. Construction I'm clueless so I would personally pick Art.

I'd go for construction since art isn't really my thing but do what you think will be best for you.
