That happened once when I tried using my acer pc's mouse with my dell pc. I could move mouse but not click or sometimes just click but can't move. I figured out that I have to boot up the pc with mouse already plugged in. If I plugged the mouse in during boot or when it boots, it would it function properly. Strange.
