So on my dad's computer the mouse will move around on screen but when I actually click on something the screen is unresponsive to clicks. In other words I can't click on anything, nothing happens. It is an HP laptop. How do I fix this? IT IS A TOUCHPAD BTW

Try deleting the driver and re installing it

Also you can adjust your settings for the mouse on control panel.

Let me know if the driver things works and if not I'll try to look up another solution

I can't even get there cuz I can't click on anything. It's only responsive to my keyboard

Reboot your computer. I've never heard of this happening before

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

It may be a problem with the actual sensors in the touchpad area if it still isn't working. It doesn't seem like a quick fix and I would recommend bringing into a computer shop in the next few days if you can't figure it out

Use keyboard controls to get to your drivers and delete the mouse driver, reboot then it should work.
