Twitch makes drinks now?

Anyways, the build looks great. Also, couldn't help but notice the really nice video quality.
What games will you be playing specifically?

Good shit man. Usually when people post their vids up I ignore them. But, I am currently on my first build aswell gathering the required parts one step at a time. I have the motherboard, case and ram currently. This is really wanting me to get this build done

Great vid, great quality, great music, and great all around. I dropped a sub and a like and I really hope you enjoy that rig man.

Take care!

How did that build even equal out to $3200? From the parts you listed in your video, you're sitting around $2230. Without RAM listed or case fans, it's safe to assume that RAM, extra case fans combined with your K70, would be around $2570. After shipping and taxes, around $2600-$2700, if that, unless you paid for overnight shipping on everything lol

You could have saved yourself money on the build either way by dropping the 1000w PSU. A 750W PSU, even a 650W PSU would have been more than suffice even if you plan to do SLI. Right now you're roughly using 400W, adding another 1080 STRIX would be another 180W, equaling about 580W.

If you care about noise level in your case, the Kraken x61 would have been a better option for noise level since the H115i is around a 40-43 dB(A) which is a little stupidly high when compared to the Kraken x61 sitting at I believe 27-33 dB(A). It's more so if you play with a mic kind of close to your system and worried about it picking up noise from inside your case since the 750D has literally no noise dampening like the R5 does. Someone can also correct me if I'm wrong with this, but I also believe the Kraken X61 preforms a little better than the H115i, probably at most 1-3c cooler, but that also depends on your CPU, fans in your case, fans on the radiator, thermal compound and I guess how hot/humid it is at your house.

I'm not going to tell you whether or not you should have chosen the 1070 over the 1080, I was in the same area as you were with that, but I decided to settle for the 1070 until the 1080TI, however others will tell you the 1080 isn't a justified reason to get over the 1070. Money isn't and wasn't an issue for me, don't know if it's the same for you, however if it is a slight concern, you could have saved yourself around $400 by getting a 1070 and a less wattage PSU. I'm sure a few people could find other ways to save money and still get top notch performance, maybe in the CPU area; however I have not used that CPU in the past or even researched it enough to touch that area.

It's not the best looking game in the world, but [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] is probably one of the most exhilarating and realistic games I've played when it comes to modern shooters.
There's no pay to win, no dumb space shit, realistic damage and such. Check it out

Sorry i forgot to include the monitor i just ordered for my build! so that's why that adds up wrong.

Yeah i know i could have saved money in a lot of places, but that's not what my build was about, i was getting everything i wanted, and money wasn't the problem. im going to look into that kraken, because as you said i dont want it to be loud on my microphones.

As for the 1070 and 1080 thing, i was going all out with the build at the time, and money wasn't a problem so why not just get the best one at the time! So that's the reasoning behind that. But i really wasnt trying to save money or go low end on too many items. and im still buying more storage and more mods for the case and little things here and there!

I really liked all of your feed back and im going to take all of it in! Thank you again man for checking it out!

Yeah man, it gives you a rich experience and the best part is how it's not dependant on an extremely high-end computer.
