change the dns server to 8.8.8.8(primary) 8.8.4.4(secondary) download will be faster also just pause and unpause both work plus psn isnt the best to download games unless you share games with your friends who live in other areas other then that always buy the games on disc to avoid the slowness also another tip is to put the console in rest mode it downloads alot faster

Your ISP may be throttling your connection if the traffic is heavy.

Or, what Faux25 said may be true as well. Good luck!

If you are connected over Wifi then the PS4 has horrible download speeds. Try doing a wired ethernet connection and see if that helps. Also how Faux25 has recommended if you are trying to download big files (Games, large updates) you can start the download and put the PS4 into rest mode and download speeds should get extremely better even when connected via wifi.

Also make sure that if you are connecting via ethernet to get your max 150mps use a CAT5e or higher cable :p
