None of it means that, it's all for publicity. The blacked out eye is another symbol.

Yea there's a lot of things you can point out in the video, like the way Daft Punk is positioned/stanced in the painting at the begining. Weeknd killing his "old self". I think it's all just a gig for us to be distracted from the bigger picture. I don't know really. I honestly think the cross though is just a cool prop.

I didn't enjoy the song at first but it grew on me, the video is really weird but I enjoy that also. That graphic is dope, although I noticed the background came out a bit pixely. Did you use a blur effect, or was the picture a lot smaller originally?

If you are referring to the back images, the conjoined helmet has a mosaic affect to it. The other images have a motion blur to it.

Also the overall image has a gaussian blur to it besides the main image in the middle of them standing as that is the main vocal point I wanted people to focus on.
