All I would be doing is taking air out of the system. It's charged just like your tires. I believe you can push that little pin down on the line that you connect your can to and air will come out. Be careful as freon will come out as well so just do it slow and be patient. Maybe I'm thinking of a different line but I'm pretty sure that's how that one works. It's not the "right" way of doing it I'm sure, but it works.

I've always bought AC pro, it's 40 or 50 bucks if I remember right.

Is thier a chance of the can lying? haha.. Like I said in the beginning it was never in the red. So It could very well have been empty then I just filled it with air and nothing changed.. I guess its prolly a 50/50 since its just a gage rather then an actual service person.

Aight I just bled it out lol Not sure if that was the right thing to do but its at 0 in the green. Litterally only air was coming out the entire time so it was never once even cold even though I did where special work gloves and latex gloves haha. Imma wait like 5 minutes and then fill it. I got a different kind this time.. last time it was like walmart brand for only 16$ this time its like A/C pro or something for 34$ so yeah I doubt it would matter too much but I have a better feeling that freon is gonna come out rather then pretty much compressed air...

Dude I had the same issue. My a/c compressor was fine. The serpentine belt snapped off and there was no belt on the compressor, Check that out.

TheFakeMrSneaky wrote Hello, so I just tried recharging my ac the other day and when I hooked the gage up to the AC thing (lol sorry idk what it's called) the arrow went to the green for being empty. It said if it goes to the red is a mechanical issue. So I thought I was good. Filed it up to the blue about in the middle of the blue. Still blows hot air.. any suggestions?
could be as simple as the orphus tube there is a check ball inside that could be bad Google the issue should show you how to change it I had the same issue with one of my trucks cost me $5 to fix it and recharged the system works great now
