Looking for suggestions for a car.

I had a Corsa but didn't like it I was looking at Ford Focus' and they look nice.

Anyone else suggest cars obviously not like a Ferrari or that but a reasonable car at a reasonable price.

The only thing I have against a Ford Focus is the CVT transmissions. I just personally don't like them compared to a tradition automatic trans, but I assume you're not from America and therefore probably getting a standard trans lol. With a standard trans I think the Focus is a great car.

I just bought a Ford Focus on Saturday, it runs well and is a smooth ride. Gas mileage is good so no issues with that. I would suggest it. Not a hatchback though, to me I don't like hatchbacks.

I bought a Kia Optima labor day and I love it man. Roughly 450 miles to the tank. Only have to fill up every week and a half.

Thanks for bringing up hatchbacks, I forgot about the issue with them lol. My grandpa bought a 2016 Focus SE hatchback and we took it hunting last year and had a major issue. On dirt or gravel roads, these cars just collect ALL the dust. The back end would be just caked in dirt to where you literally cannot see the original color (white) within 5 minutes of traveling at 20 mph. That's not so much of an issue, but the dirt gets into the gas fuel area which I would imagine can cause an issue. It also piles up on the seals in the back so when you open up the hatch you get a little dirt falling on you.

I'd say Fords too due to cheap parts compared to other manufacturers.
I must admit i like the volvo v40's though. But again the parts are expensive if needing repairs.

If you don't mind me asking how much are you willing to spend and what part of the world are you located in?

Wow I didn't know that about the hatchbacks, I've never wanted one simple because of how the design looks. I have buddy who has a Focus hatchback but his never has that problem that you described but that's most likely because we are in the middle of a desert.
