Hello TTG,
I'm sure most of you have seen me around somewhere on the forums, at one point or another. As of August 31st, I have become a 5 year member. I've been on TheTechGame for many years now and have seen it go through many dramatic changes. I used to snoop around without an account back when the site used to be called TheTechPit. Boy has time flew.
The time I remember vividly was back in 2011-2012 when the Modern Warfare 2 section would have 100+ members on there constantly. I had a bad computer back then, and I remember scrolling down and the colossal list of names would freeze my Internet Explorer hahaha. Soon enough, TU7 rolled out and patched everything. I still remember the minute the update was released and everybody was freaking out. Within months, people were charging $30+ simply for a challenge lobby.
I'm aware I don't have an excessive amount of posts, hell, there are probably members who have been here for a quarter of the time I have with more posts and reputation power. It's alright though, we're a community. I support everyone, except the scammers and whatnot. I do still constantly have the site open in my browser though, and I'm often lurking in the forums somewhere.
However, just because I don't post that often doesn't mean I don't support the site. As my badge says, I am a supporter. I paid for my limited edition TheTechGame shirt and received it in the mail, as well as the vinyl sticker that came with it. Also, supporting the site in another way, I have been a Gold Member for 46 CONSECUTIVE MONTHS. I have my membership on auto renewal. Do the math; price of TTG gold x 46 = amount I've given the site.
I have enjoyed every second on here and I wanna thank everyone who has been supportive. I will continue to stick around and be as helpful as I can. It's just tough, considering I'm in my senior year of high school and preparing to go to college for computer science and graphic design.
