Has she said she'll move with you when she graduates?
If she does then just stick it out long distance until then, it might suck but it gets better!
If she loves you truly, she'll manage to live through it for the time being.
Also you can always visit her every so often depending how far it is.

If youve wanted that job for so long i cant see how you would be able to pass it up. I would just explain to her how badly you want the job and then she should understand

I will be honest, long distance is tough man. Especially when you guys have been together physically for a while.

My advice is to FaceTime as often as possible and try to map out a clear plan for as to when she will be able to move up there with you.

Portray this in a way where you explain to her that you are the man, and you are setting up a stable environment and home for you guys to live in, so that you can grow your relationship to the next level.

Long distance stuff sucks. I travel the country for work, I might be in a different city every couple weeks lol. If I get in a relationship and I'm on the road, she thinks that there is no other place I'd be besides a strip club or something so automatically I'm cheating. Not saying your girlfriend is like that, just saying it gets REALLY difficult if there's no trust.


I'd say go for the job and don't let her tell you otherwise. If you wanted this job this long, go out and get it. The job may not last, but a lot of relationships don't last either so you have to look at which one (honestly) will last longer. Generally speaking it's the job. If she's good with it, great there's no problems lol.

If I were you, I'd straight up tell her, I got a job far from home so I may not be home weeks at a time. Don't ask for permission.

Get your girlfriend to come with you or ask them to hold the position until she graduates

I have been in your situation many years ago I stuck with the job paid off greatly needless to say me and old girl didn't last. She wanted differ et things then I did and this will test your love and things you want together But stick with your dreams and goals
