So I bought this golf it's not the GTI just a golf 2000 5 speed it's just a basic model. Just put $700 into it for parts and stuff to get it fixed got it fixed but since they fixed it I don't have tail lights I have brake lights just no tail lights when I turn my lights on for the night and I have changed the balbs and the fuses to everything is find I can get brake lights and turn signals just on tail lights. I just really need some help please I googled but I'm just stupid and don't know much about cars I should have never got it but I need a car so it's what I could get. Thanks

Have you checked the wiring harness?

what did you need to fix? take it back to where you got it fixed as they must have broken a wire or not connected one properly

If you could post pictures of all the wiring that'd be a big help. My friend drives a GLI (2004.5) and he had a problem somewhat like this.
