Looking at getting a PC build have literally been talking about it for a year or so now. The monitor I'm getting is the benq xl2411z. I will only be gaming on 1080p because I don't think I can afford to go higher at this moment.

What GPU would give me the best bang for buck performance at 1080p gaming? Not sure whether to go for a 970 or save up for a 1070 or something a little more future proof,

Just wondering if you guys have any advice..

Thanks

GTX 970 and GTX 1070 are completely different price ranges. The 970 doesn't make sense anymore anyway, a 480 or 1060 would be better. It depends on what system you'll be putting the GPU in to, what PSU you have, what you budget is. Also don't get that monitor, it is not good.

Fair point, the only thing putting me off the 1060 is you can't SLI or so I have read anyway. I have a rough build ready but unsure of it currently. My budget is 850-900GBP, and the monitor/keyboard/mouse/OS isn't included in that price. What monitor would you suggest?

And it may be a long shot, but would you have a 900 GBP build you could suggest,

If you don't it's ok, thanks for the reply.
