I have been waiting for the EVGA gtx 1060 sc to come in stock and ever since the release it was 260$ but I checked it this morning to see if it was on stock but the price went up to 310$ and is being sold by another person on newegg? [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Can someone please tell me where else I can find this card or why the prices went up.

Should i wait for the prices to drop back down or just go with the sapphire nitro+ rx 480? but I'm not to sure because the gtx 1060 i think would be the better choice.

It's probably someone selling them through Newegg for an increased price because stock is iffy. Stock for all the new GPUs has been pretty bad because they've all been selling like hot cakes. Any GTX 1060 will do, you don't need to get that specific one. Just keep an eye out for one in stock for $250-$270, and try not to get a reference/founders/blower style cooler. Get an RX 480 if you want something in stock(if you find one, of course), and potentially a little cheaper. The GTX 1060 is the better performing card of the two, though the 480 has it's benefits.

The 480s are both out of stock right now, that Zotac 1060 is in stock when I'm posting this. The 480 coolers are(IMO) nicer, but the 1060 is the better card. I'd personally take the 1060 since it's better, and is in stock right now, but it's up to you.
