Whenever I plug my Apple Earbuds into the microphone port on my PC i hear a buzzing sound and the mic doesnt work or show up on recording devices. same with the headphone port I never hear anything and I hear a buzzing noise.

I think its my earbuds so If I go buy these these should work right?

Okay, well first of all, you'll be hearing a buzzing noise because you're most likely plugging earphones in to the front panel audio? There will be a lot of electrical noise due to that, since you have a bunch of components in there. If you plug in to the motherboard I/O, you'll have better results, but maybe not as well as you'd like.

As for the microphone not working, you're using earphones with one cable(as far as I'm aware), so plugging them in to the audio out port will allow you to use them as a listening device, but you can't plug that one cable in to the mic in at the same time, hence no microphone. You shouldn't really use cheap earphones anyway IMO, so a nice headset is always a wise purchase.

What is your budget and currency? Those TB's would not be a great choice, by any means.

Well i'm going to walmart to go buy a mic my budget is $40 and USD

You're not really going to get anything good from Walmart, especially not for $40.

About $65, from Best Buy but it's the best deal I can find. HyperX Cloud's are without a doubt, the best budget headphones on the market.

Can anyone confirm if I should get this? I need a headset for Xbox One and PC and this works for both so can I just get this?
