So both brake lights on my 07 TSX are out. Took a look and found that one of the bulbs was bad and the light still functions when the headlights are on and when I lock/unlock my car. I concluded that the problem was with the wiring or the connections. So how do I go about fixing this?

I am not completely sure, but does the Brake lights have specific relays? A relay could be blown if so

I am not too sure... If it helps the passenger side was working until I took off the bulb so I could test the other. Also the wiring on both sides were awkwardly bent as well.

Sounds like the light to me. Usually tail lights will still work but the brake light will go out. The reason being is because the tail lights are dimmer so they aren't passing as much energy. Brake lights are brighter and pass more energy. Currently we have the same issue with our van and every time we replace the bulb the brake light works again. Our issue is there is a crease above the light housing and the back is cracked so every time it rains, water gets in it lol.

Found my problem. Took a closer look at my bulbs and saw that on one, both coils for each light were broken and on the other only the coil for the brake light was broken. Thanks Going to buy new, better quality bulbs now.
