So i seen some extra charges on some of my items on amazon yesterday and and i did not know what they were, I contacted amazon about it and they said it is a procedure called "Authorization" And the money goes back into the bank in 5-10 days? Some of the money did go back in today but have any of you guys had this before?

I have never heard of this, but if they do charge your account for verification purposes, it should be about $1>.

That's very strange and unusual for an amount that large to be deducted due to authentication purposes - I would definitely complain about that.

Usually a transaction of about $1> is done to make sure the credit card is valid and active.
