I want to buy Black Ops 1 to play on my Xbox One and checked on Xbox.com, on the website there is a Xbox One version (£45) and a Xbox 360 version (£11). Obviously I'd take the 360 version but wondering if I'll be able to play it on my Xbox One, do you know if they are compatible?

First off, there is no such thing as a xbox one version. The only black ops 1 is available only on Wii, Xbox 360, and Ps3. On xbox, they are sellin it for $10 with gold membership. I have no idea where you found $40 from. Anyways, once you purchase the 360 copy, you can play on your xbox one, really fun game

You can only purchase the Xbox 360 version, as the guy stated above me.

On your Xbox One, you can insert the 360 disc, and it will run Black Ops 1 as if you are playing on a 360.
