Good info OP but if this is targeting new lifters the best advice is that they should do full body workouts and a lot of compound movements. They don't need to count calories at the start as it's not necessary. They must learn that slow controlled movements build muscle and bursts of energy on the positive build strength. Main lesson new lifters should learn is FORM. If your form is incorrect, you will not be making any gains you can potentially make, and it may lead to a serious injury.

This is for new lifters to choose to train as bodybuilders do though.

Plus if they do counting macro's from the very start then then it's only going to benefit their future because they'll be doing so without thinking after a year or so, also helps them know what there body needs to grow, cut, maintain how it reacts to high carb days etc.

Full body workouts is going to make small muscle tares in every muscle which is going to decrease mass growth bug increase overall growth slightly, maybe at first they will grow fast cause its newbie gains but that doesnt last long.

I mentioned form to be slow and controlled and not ego lift, if they stick to those two things no one will get injured using a reasonable or safe weight and performing it correctly and slowly.
