So Craig just brought to my attention that there is a new badge called "MOTM" which stands for member of the month.

Let me know what you guys think of this badge, and staff, if you have any info on how this is gonna work and be given out, feel free to let us know.

Seems like a pretty cool idea to me however I can see this causing SO MANY GOD DAMN ARGUMENTS

Picking a few members instead of 1 may be a good idea

If it's done correctly, it could really work out. But it depends if it ends up as a popularity contest.

Hopefully it's done right though.

Probably like having most number of post of that month possibly or someone maybe nominated as member of the month but that'll be nice

I think it's a badge that should have been added a long time ago.
I wonder what will decide if a user is worthy of receiving it though.

I am ready for the amount of hate I am going to get, but do it like Se7enSins.

Let the members nominate the members they think deserves it. Then let the administration pick the 5 nominees of the nominated members, then let members vote for the nominee of their choosing, then 2 weeks later the most voted for member gets MoTM. But asking for votes should be automatic disqualification.
