These new badges are epic, I love em

In my opinion i am really surprised about all the frivolous badges that have been added. I understand the site changes over time, but badges use to be something hard to work at. Now there are badges just simply for logging in on Christmas.

I think that it's completely fine and am not sure why people are complaining.

Badges are just a cool way to reward your progress on the site. They are a bi-product of your contribution to the site, they shouldn't be someones sole reason for making a contribution (if they are then you do you, but my point remains the same). With this in mind, i don't think that having some more cool badges devalues anything. The meaning of each particular badge remains the same and the only thing that will devalue them is when too many people have the specific badge (Gold gifter is worth less than it used to be worth not because the + badges were added in v4, but because hundreds of members ended up achieving it).

I don't see how having a badge for logging in on Christmas is going to make a badge such as Download King beworth any more or less than it used to. It just adds more variety, and variety is a good thing.

I'm happy that they added the Supporter badge. I've been waiting for it since I bought a shirt.

I like the PC Master Race one, how do you get it, never got involved with the badges on this site lol
