operation Gladio B is a classified ongoing expansion of Operation Gladio. The original Gladio was established just after the end of World War II by a small number of senior officials within OSS/CIA, MI6 and NATO. This was a top secret network of fascist "stay-behind" cells ready to carry out acts of terrorism in the event of a Soviet invasion. This was exposed after they were used to carry out a string of false flag attacks in Western Europe, especially in the 1980s, which were generally blamed on communist groups. As the cold war ended, this "strategy of tension" was diversified to include Gladio B, which substitutes Muslims for fascists and neo-nazis. It was exposed by FBI whistleblower, Sibel Edmonds, who revealed that "Operation Gladio B" is an FBI codename adopted in 1997 for ongoing relations between US intelligence, the Pentagon and Al Qaeda.[1] Daniel Ellsberg has stated that Edmonds possesses information "far more explosive than the Pentagon Papers".[2] She has stated that 9-11 was a Gladio/B Operation[2] and summarizes the objective of Gladio B as:
"projecting U.S. power in the former Soviet sphere of influence to access previously untapped strategic energy and mineral reserves for U.S. and European companies; pushing back Russian and Chinese power; and expanding the scope of lucrative criminal activities, particularly illegal arms and drugs trafficking.

Revelations
Most of the revelations about Gladio B have come from Sibel Edmonds, who revealed that US "anti-terrorist" task forces have in fact been working very closely with some of the very same terrorists they are officially opposing.
Pre 9/11 US/Al Qaeda cooperation
Sibel Edmonds revealed that senior US intelligence agents were regularly meeting Ayman al-Zawahiri (then leader of Al Qaeda) at the U.S. embassy in Azerbaijan and Baku, starting in 1997 and continuing right up to the 9/11 attacks. They were also meeting members of the bin Laden family (including Osama Bin Laden) and other mujahideen who were transported by NATO aircraft to Central Asia and the Balkans to participate in false flag "destabilization operations". Other people were also flown, on US Intelligence orders, to Turkey. Turkey was a major base of the operations where agents were trained and prepared to participate in these operations and Edmonds specifically reported that some of the 9/11 hijackers were being trained there.[6]
Post 9/11 US/Al Qaeda cooperation
Edmonds reported that Osama Bin Laden and Ayman al-Zawahiri worked with the key U.S. government officials for 3 months after 9/11 to coordinate false flag destabilization operations in the Caucus region.[7]

Funding

Edmonds points to the international drugs trade as a key role in funding black ops such as Operation Gladio/B. She notes that in 2001 the US chose to attack the world's largest producer of opium, Afghanistan, endeavouring to present it as a result of 9-11, but without providing any evidence that the country was in any way connected to the attack.

Opium production has greatly increased since the US lead invasion. As with Gary Webb's well documented case that the CIA was heavily involved in cocaine trafficking, the commercially-controlled media has refused to show much interest in the evidence.[8][9]

Other revelations
Sibel Edmonds also reported a Turkish and Israeli run network which paid top intelligence officials to steal nuclear weapon secrets that were sold on the international black market to countries like Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.[10] These and other allegations were confirmed by the Sunday Times after speaking to Pentagon and MI6 sources, and by obtaining a document signed by an FBI official confirming the operation's existence. However, apparently due to pressure from political intelligence committees, it the document itself was never published.
Edmonds told Washington's Blog:
"For the past 11 years I have been emphasizing that my State Secrets Privilege & Gag Orders had to do with the FBI files (covering period 1996-2002 February) on covert-terrorist operations in Caucasus and Central Asia backed, managed and armed by US actors. These US-NATO directed operations in the region involved Bin-Laden and mainly Zawahiri ..
The FBI documents contained damning evidence (audio and written) collected between 1996-2002 tying these terror operations directly to the U.S. persons in the State Department/CIA and Pentagon. Also, how the State Department got Congress to grant huge amounts of funds to front NGOs and businesses (mainly Turkish companies in US-listed/members of ATC) to funnel money to the terrorist cells in this region."

Response
Ex CIA agent Phil Giraldi wrote in 2008 about Sibel Edmonds and her revelations:
"Most Americans have never heard of Sibel Edmonds, and if the U.S. government has its way, they never will. The former FBI translator turned whistleblower tells a chilling story of corruption at Washingtons highest levelssale of nuclear secrets, shielding of terrorist suspects, illegal arms transfers, narcotics trafficking, money laundering, espionage. She may be a first-rate fabulist, but Edmonds account is full of dates, places, and names. And if she is to be believed, a treasonous plot to embed moles in American military and nuclear installations and pass sensitive intelligence to Israeli, Pakistani, and Turkish sources was facilitated by figures in the upper echelons of the State and Defense Departments. Her charges could be easily confirmed or dismissed if classified government documents were made available to investigators."[11]
As of January 2016, no such classified government documents have been released.

Judge Ferdinando Imposimato, the honorary president of the Italian Supreme Court stated about the 9/11 attacks and their connection to operation gladio.
"The 9/11 attacks were a global state terror operation permitted by the administration of the USA, which had foreknowledge of the operation yet remained intentionally unresponsive in order to make war against Afghanistan and Iraq. To put it briefly, the 9/11 events were an instance of the strategy of tension enacted by political and economic powers in the USA to seek advantages for the oil and arms industries." [12]

Corporate media blackout
The commercially-controlled media have shown a pronounced disinterest in Edmonds' claims. Daniel Ellsberg says that the White House has ordered the press not to cover Edmonds:
"I am confident that there is conversation inside the Government as to How do we deal with Sibel [Edmonds]?
The first line of defense is to ensure that she doesnt get into the [corporate] media. I think any outlet that thought of using her materials would go to to the government and they would be told dont touch this..."[2]
The about face of the UK's best selling newspaper, the Sunday Times could be likened to that of the San Jose Mercury News after Gary Webb revealed the CIA's deep involvement in drug trafficking. Both papers, after initially carrying out their own research to verify the information, backed their source's extraordinary revelations. Both then sudden reversed their policy with explanation.[2]
"[The] investigation based on Edmonds information was supposed to have four parts, but was inexplicably dropped. The story was pulled half-way, suddenly, without any warning, the journalist said. I wasnt party to the editorial decision to drop the story, but there was a belief in the office amongst several journalists who were part of the Insight investigative unit that the decision was made under pressure from the U.S. State Department, because the story might cause a diplomatic incident... The way the story was dropped was unusual, but the belief amongst my colleagues this happened under political pressure is plausible. He cryptically described an editorial mechanism, linked to the paper but not formally part of it, which could however exert control on stories when necessary, linked to certain interests. When asked which interests, the journalist said, I cant say. I cant talk about that.

The Sunday Times interviews former FBI special agent:
A journalist with the Sunday Times investigative unit told this author he had interviewed former Special Agent in Charge, Dennis Saccher, who had moved to the FBIs Colorado office. Saccher reportedly confirmed the veracity of Edmonds allegations of espionage, telling him that Edmonds story should have been front page news because it was a scandal bigger than Watergate. [

Operational examples
Al Qaeda's support from the US is a matter of record. Going back to the Reagan and Bush administration, J. Michael Springmann, the former head of the United States visa bureau in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia revealed that he was ordered by high level state department officials to issue visas for Osama Bin Laden's recruits who were to be sent to the United States to be trained by the CIA. The Jeddah consulate would be the very same office that issued 15 of the alleged 9/11 hijackers visas to enter the United States. He was fired for his revelations.[14]

The Islamic State (ISIL)(ISIS)(Daesh) was originally an Al Qaeda affiliated entity created by US intelligence with the support of Britains MI6, Israels Mossad, Pakistans Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and Saudi Arabias General Intelligence Presidency (GIP). A large number of ISIL mercenaries are convicted criminals, death row inmates released from Saudi prisons on condition they join ISIL. ISIS/ISIL are involved in the CIA-NATO supported insurgency in Syria directed against the government of Bashar al Assad.[15]
A Jordanian official reported ISIS leaders being trained by U.S. Intelligence at a CIA base in Jordan which were then used for [false flag] destabilization operations in Syria and later in Iraq. Nabil Na'eem, the founder of the Islamic Democratic Jihad Party and former top al-Qaeda commander, told the Beirut-based pan-Arab TV station al-Maydeen all current al-Qaeda affiliates, including ISIS, work for the CIA. Investigative journalist William Engdahl wrote on RT that "key members of ISIS it now emerges were trained by US CIA and Special Forces command at a secret camp in Jordan in 2012, according to informed Jordanian officials."[16]
In May 2015, government documents were obtained by Judicial Watch via FOIA. The document from 2012, outlines the situation in Syria. It reads.
"The Salafist, the Muslim Brotherhood, and AQI [Al Qaeda Iraq] are the major forces driving the insurgency in Syria. The West, Gulf Countries, and Turkey Support the opposition; while Russia, China, and Iran Support the Regime"
This debunks the corporate media lie that Washington's support is only for "moderate rebels".

It also predicted the rise of ISIS years before, and also declares support for it.
"there is the possibility of establishing a declared or undeclared Salafist Principality in eastern Syria (Hasaka and Der Zor), and this is exactly what the supporting powers to the opposition want, in order to isolate the Syrian regime"
It goes on to say:
"ISI (Islamic State in Iraq) could also declare an Islamic State through its union with other terrorist organization in Iraq and Syria

In other words, the countries that support the Syrian opposition the West, Gulf Countries, and Turkey support ISIS and it's declared "islamic caliphate" as a tool to challenge Syrian president Assad, and establish a regime change.
Al Jazeeras Mehdi Hasan interviewed retired Lieutenant General Michael Flynn, former head of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and asked him about the document and Flynn said ISIS's rise was 'a willful Washington decision' [18] Sibel Edmonds also says ISIL is a rebranding of Al Qaeda and part of Gladio B. [19]
ISIL is being used as propaganda by the deep state to increase police state measures, such as justification of mass surveillance, suspension of habeas corpus, and retraction of civil liberties. While also being used as a tool for regime change, along with major profits from illegal oil smuggling and drug trafficking.
Ukraine

Svoboda militants
U.S. Intelligence Officials[Who?] have worked with Ukrainian Nationalist and Neo Nazi Far-Right militia including the Ukranian National Assembly, Right Sektor, and the Svoboda party. The groups are suspected of playing a decisive role in the false flag sniper attacks in which they could be seen shooting both supporting demonstrators and policemen causing destabilization that led to the collapse of elected Ukrainian government. Swiss historian Dr. Daniele Ganser notes was similar to the strategy of tension of the Taksim Square massacre in Istanbul, a part of the original Operation Gladio. [20] [21] Now, because of the rise of these neo-nazi groups, members of Svoboda and the Right Sector occupy key positions in the areas of Defense, Law Enforcement, Education and Economic Affairs. Andriy Parubiy who was a co-founder of Svoboda was appointed Secretary of the National Security and National Defense Committee. The leader of the Svobada party Oleh Tyahnybok (see pictures) is a well known anti semite and has "urged purges of the approximately 400,000 Jews and other minorities living in the Ukraine." [22] he was appointed to prosecutor-general of Ukraine. Dmytro Yarosh, leader of the Right Sector delegation in the parliament has now been appointed to people's deputy of Ukraine and is quoted saying he will "fight jews and Russians until the day he dies." Cabinet positions were also allocated to former members of the Neo-Nazi fringe organization Ukrainian National Assembly Ukrainian National Self Defense.[26]
An event carried out

A complex and spectacular set of events in New York and Washington. The US government was quick to blame Al Qaeda, though no evidence of guilt was presented and there is much suspicion about what Al Qaeda really is. In the USA 9-11 assisted the Patriot Act's roll back of civil liberties, the stepping up of domestic surveillance and the financial advancement of the military industrial complex. Abroad 9-11 helped launched wars on Iraq and Afghanistan that had been planned long before.
