My university is different, all my lecturers are up to date with technology and it really helps.

We all have Mac's, iPads etc and they do not mind.

They also use technology for there own good, during the lecture.

Most education systems have reasoning behind what they do. Sometimes in a meeting you won't have a laptop to type or view the power point. A lot of what schools are doing are preparing you for almost every situation in the real world. Yes, the world is evolving and most companies will use technology but in some instances you won't have access to it.

My school was different they even allowed PC's during exams.

Although it depended what classes I was in we were allowed to use our phones.

Which was about 3 years ago lol.
