Anyone have experience with buying tint online?

I would like to learn how to tint my own car and would like to know if anyone has purchased tint online.

I have seen some listing on ebay with automotive tint and looks somewhat promising.

As far as I know, alot of the better brands require you to have a business license to get ahold of their product. You can always get the cheapo shit but I'd stick to brands like 3M. There's another good brand out there, I can't for the life of me remember it. I think it's "Johnson"?

There are tint shops around me, I would most likely be able to get ahold of what they have.

Alright, well that's good. Whatever you do, however you get it I would highly recommend Johnson (It was johnson). It's all I've ever used. I'm at work right now, when I get home I'll upload some pictures of my cars so you can see how it is.

3M isn't too bad either.

Yeah, unfortunately that stuff is dealers only. That being said, I'd go with the 3M.

You can get the cheap E-bay special, but don't expect it to last long. For a quality tint, you'll be spending 100 or more.

Price isn't the issue.

Could care less how much it is. I would just rather not deal with any of the shops around here.

Someone online said 3M was good enough to last. Ill most likely go with it unless I decide to go to a local shop and see what they have. Thank you for the help

If you happened to be located in Pennsylvania I could refer you to a very nice shop.
