Hey gusy getting a pc very soon(8days) and i need the money form this laptop to get a few extra bits, how can i reset my laptop fully, clear all files to default, have the original programs, without affecting my window, it came with window 8 already installed?I need to keep it on there.

Well you could buy a windows disc or find another way to get one ;)

lolol no bro if you have a windows disc you can reinstall windows to its default state
I find it the easiest way to "restore" a computer back to default

I dont have a disc tho it didnt come with one?

I dont have a disc tho it didnt come with one?
Sometimes with laptops if you go to factory restore them, they defaultly have Windows, at least mine did, which was a Toshiba Qosmio.

i messed up my laptop and then i needed to reset without loosing windows, i went over to the settings and then it had reset and install windows again. i clicked it and then it worked and reset the laptop like new

Go on to Compaq's website and see if there's something you can do. Failing that download a ISO and install windows again and use the product key to activate it (usually on the bottom of the laptop)
