I swapped my Xbox one for this PC at the end of last year and i am looking to upgrade it.

I think i would like a new case and a new cpu fan/cooling method, also another case fan or fans as my PC's temperatures are a bit higher than i would like
(i do have a CPU fan but i cannot find it on pcpartpicker)

I have all the Peripherals needed,

i have around 200-300 pounds to upgrade.

I am not sure if this is the best time to upgrade as there are a lot of new releases upcoming if i am correct, if i should wait let me know.

i am still a bit of a noob with PC's so if i have missed any important information please let me know and i will add it in to this post.

The cpu is fine, The case is fine, Other things need to be changed more than it.

The main things that need to be upgraded is the psu because its poor quality and the graphics card. You then would want to get a ssd.

You could either get a gtx 970 and a new psu

a r9 290, new psu and a ssd.

Or a r9 280x which is really cheap atm, psu, ssd and a cpu cooler.

Alternatively you could wait to see what amds 300 series is like but i doubt anything will outperform the 290 for £200 or the 280x which is currently £150

If you can manage a little over budget. You'll be able to upgrade to a Broadwell i5 and OC if you wish. Nice, new case. A good PSU, and an SSD too. Your 7850 will perform about as well as an R9 270 so it'd be worth saving for a GPU upgrade, maybe one of the 300 series cards when they're released. Use the i3's stock cooler or your current cooler if it's compatible.
