Help Me Decide on a New Car

Before you get too far into reading this post, I want to let you know that I am looking for serious posts only. I don't want short little responses because that helps me none in deciding on which car to buy. If you are going to reply to this post, at least try to put some effort to tell me which car you think I should get and why. Also, if you have any car that you can suggest for me to take a look at, I will also be open minded to that as well, so if there is a car you think I should take a look at, you can let me know. Thanks for your guys' help and I hope you guys can somewhat help me in choosing the car.

I have a fairly large budget for this car and would like to keep it within the budget (Preferably under if possible).

My budget for this car is $250,000-$300,000, so I would like the car to be under 250k but I will go up to 300k if I have to.

Here are the options that I am considering thus far:

Option #1:
Ferrari 458 Spider
Approximate Price: $243,000

Option #2:
Chevrolet Corvette ZO6

Option #3:
Nissan GTR
Approximate Price: $108,500

Option #4:
Audi R8

Nissan GTR no question for my personal taste. Never liked the look of the Ferrari or Corvette. Any and all models/years.

Are you wanting more of a supercar?

If not I would look at a 2013-2014 mustang gt500 you could get that car for 65-80k and then with your budget you could really put a lot of aftermarket parts in to make it even faster.

Im going to put myself in your shoes for a moment.

Out of these 3, i would automatically cross out the corvette. Why? its too common. There are many corvettes out there. My personal taste on cars is that i ant people to stare at my car, I want my ride to stand out from he rest of the same type of cars. So no corvette.

As for the GTR, if it looks gorgeous just stock, imagine when you do minor upgrades such as front lip spoiler like you have on the pic, upgrade wheels, or just upgrade the exterior for it to look nice and stand out more than the other stock GTR's.

As for the ferrari, this ride looks clean, BUT, i believe the service for the ferrari is way more expensive than the other two, so you have to think about that too. The ferrari is beautiful, but limited in upgrades. Dont get me wrong, you can upgrde any sort of vehicle, any, but its just its going to be custom, meaning way more expensive than aftermarket parts.

So of these three, i would go with the GTR. Many upgrades available for it, love the design. Thats the problem with the corvette, the way i see it. There are many trim levels that looks the same so you cant really say if its old or new since there werent many upgrades done to the body year after year until the stingray came out where as the GTR is a completely new design.

So in the end, GTR

Ferrari is a nice car the only flaw I see in them and any other expensive ride such as the Porsche they are hard to get parts and have to be worked on by a dealer and most aren't close. Ferrari's can't exceed a log of miles that is a downfall for me. Very beautiful car .

Corvette is my top choice for a sporty but comfortable feel to it. The Z06's are getting built better and better every year. One day I will own a corvette. The ls motors are sexy and try sound marvelous with after market exhaust. Corvette is also a chevy so it's easier to get parts and chevy last awhile... This is more of what I feel you should get for your bang for your buck.

The Nissan is nice, I really been a fan of the skyline but the waiting list for one is pretty long. Very beautiful body and sexy motor.

What about the Audi r8 GT? But with your choice corvette by far.

I would go with the GTR because its not as much as the Ferrari and the Chevrolet Corvette ZO6 is nice but you see them every where you don't see GTR's a lot but overall the GTR can be more modified and a Ferrari is nice but not the convertible like its more a girl car lol but really the GTR says you a Bad A** Chevrolet Corvette ZO6 says hay look another person has it Ferrari 458 Spider says wheres the little dog with all pink on. so go with the GTR you will not be making a mistake.

okay, This is me assuming you like speed. Purchase the GTR. If horsepower matters to you and you enjoy turbo spool go with that car. I would upgrade the motor straight away because it is still within your budget. Also feel free to PM me if you decide to go this route and need help finding a reliable performance shop that will take car of your car.

Care to lend me some money Axe? Lol Jk. But anyway I'd go for the Nissan GTR. As much as I love Corvettes, I'd have to agree with UZI, they're too common. Sure you can deck it out, and make it stand out from the rest of the Corvettes you see rolling in the hood, but that's extra money, and I'm sure you'd like to stay in your range.

I'd honestly get the McLaren 650S. Goes up for $267,900 - $280,000

So just going to go with my thoughts on each, hope it helps.

Ferrari 458 Spider - Fairly common Ferrari, someone has one a couple of streets down from me. Ferrari is as you know a flash car but imo it is a more of a "look at my car, i'm rich" car.

Chevrolet Corvette ZO6 - No comment (Personally don't like and very common, equivalent to a Audi TT)

Nissan GTR - This is what i would pick out of the current listed cars, it is a car of beauty and speed. Also has amazing previous models (R34, R33 etc). Also sounds awesome even with the stock exhaust system (Seen a couple while riding in London) but if you were to go with this get a new exhaust system (Akrapovic for example)

Audi R8 - Surprisingly not very common in the UK, i have only seen one outside Ikea. I think it looks good and obviously will be reliable being German.

McLaren 650 - Haven't really payed a lot of attention to McLaren since the F1 but it looks nice and have seen one coming out of McDonald's lol. If you are going to go for a flashy look this is a better option than the Ferrari.

You probably will not like this but this is what i would get in your situation:

Most people wouldn't realise you had a V8 under the hood, 560BHP and 4.2 0-60. BMW M5
