So, after a couple of weeks of playing games with my R9 270, it's just not quite cutting it at max settings. I'm wanting to upgrade it. Price point of 350USD is about right. Quite frankly, i don't care how MUCH i spend, i don't have an overhead and make about 100 dollars a week working on the weekends.

All i want is the most power i can with my 500watt PSU. My current build is in my motto, any questions ask.

I WAS going to crossfire, but it's just not gonna cut it w/ my PSU.

(and just out of curiousity, what would happen if i moved my gpu DOWN a pcie slot to one of my 2 8x's? Does that decrease performance?

Will rep, thanks in advance!

NOTE: I DO use two monitors with this, nothing special just 2 15.6 inch TFT LCDs

Computer hardware sometimes does, I'd be more expecting 700 series Nvidia to go on sale as its now EOL.

I'm looking at reviews now. I like MSI's stuff, i've had a few in the past, could i get this
http://www.amazon.com/MSI-GTX-970-GAMING-4G/dp/B00NN0GEXQ/ref=br_lf_m_10052256011_1_8_ttl?ie=UTF8&s=pc&pf_rd_p=1928288722&pf_rd_s=center-3&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_i=10052256011&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=0BA5PQBKYXGVGXWG43D9
and still get good preformance? I like MSI's because i'd like:

Twin frozrs
The ability to overclock

and i like the fact that the MSI is shorter by like, 2in. While i have a very big case, i'd like to not have to worry about cables running over it.

And to be sure, this WILL work with my crappy 56 percent efficent dual 12v rail 500watt psu. right? (i have 2 6pins available right now)

I'm not sure about the one i linked, but the MSI Frozr V is semi-passive so the fans will not run until the card hits a certain temp. What is the model of your power supply, it will be printed on the sticker with voltage and amperage ratings on the unit.
