It's probably worth it, I have a 55' inch television in my room to game and a 70' inch television in the family room. If you'll use/watch it often then it's worth it. If you're just getting it to watch television shows then I would recommend a smaller size.

I have checked and they between 200-600 pounds

From cheap makes to good makes, does it matter about the make

and 300 dollars = 178 pounds

I am getting a 42 inch because the room i am putting it in is a small room.

If you could recommend a better TV for cheaper please post!

Nice size, good brand and around the right price. However, as Argos os a large store you will have more chance of finding a better deal on other sites which are known for cheaper products. Try eBay and put the condition as new. You may find the exact telly for a fraction cheaper.

If you are using for gaming, stay away from TV's and go to monitor.

Depends really, is it for Gaming? or just watching TV? If it's for gaming then it's possibly a little too big
