I would never get a MAC, they're just like designer sunglasses (Badly made and amazingly overpriced.)

Macs are very overpriced and underpowered like consoles.
Get the Asus because it's better but if you want to be cool and get a better looking computer then get the mac.

although macs are overpriced, under powered, and a bit overrated. I would still go with a mac with the sheer fact that it's simple, there easy to use and get the job done, not to complex, and they rarely ever get viruses. Macs are fantastic for college use and school work because they can do the job in the most easy and simple way possible. Not to mention macs are extremely fast ;)

If you have lots of money in your budget go with a mac.
They are much more productive.
Plus they have special deals for college students.

THEjamezor wrote In all honesty, being a Microsoft lover, I'd go with a Mac, considering you're just using it for work (assuming you're wanting to succeed in college)

PC For Gaming, Mac For Work.

Wtf, you said "In all honesty, (Being a Microsoft Lover)" Then you said you preferred a MAC... I'm so confused.

Windows. Always has been the most simple, all documents will be for Windows @ College - My mate wants to sell his Mac after a couple of weeks of going.
Good luck!

That is not 100% true.
It depends on the school.

Alright so mostly everyone is going mac here. Will it get the job done for computer science and how is the transition over from PC to Mac?
