If anyone could help me make the decision it would seriously take a load off of my stress.

If you're looking to do everything but game, go with the Mac. People dislike Macs solely for that reason, but in reality, they are much more efficient machines. Just be prepared to pay for ALL of your software.

Go with the Windows computer. I would say MAC but you have to pay for all the software which can add up to about $500. Windows coms with everything you need. I am using a Macbook Pro right now and yes I can say it's efficient but paying for all the software is quite a hassle.

I'd go with an Asus, but not that one. My $500 one isn't touch screen but its great for schoolwork.

Some people here are really misinformed, and it just goes to show you how good of a trick marketing plays on you.

Is Mac better? It depends on what you prefer, but Windows has more software available for it, keep that in mind. Also look at the laptop itself and what features you prefer rather than basing it on the OS.

EDIT: The Zenbook build quality is equal to a Macbook's, and it has a much better screen.
