So I've personally played about three matches and every game I join,

the lag is AWFUL.

Like I'm talking COD rubber-banding lag.

Has anyone experienced this issue?

Im Fine, May just be your Internet having problems or the Players internet that you are joining.

Maybe you're assigned as the host and it's too slow to handle all the data. Or that could be the case for the people you're joining, if they're the host.

But it also could be a NAT issue. Check if your NAT is open by the router control panel. If you're not sure how to do this, you should Google it. A closed NAT type is the cause to many issues in regards to multiplayer gaming.
