There is a whole thread on this only a couple posts below.

If you want to mod your save, you must have the modding tool that can be downloaded from Mediafire I believe. Here is the download tool. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Make a back up of your current save just in case things don't work.

Delete everything on your ps3 that has to do with payday. That means the game data, game save and settings save.

Start a new game in payday, and play offline so that the new patch doesn't get installed. Go in to your inventory and back out so that the game saves.

Transfer that new save onto a USB and then onto the computer that has the modding tool installed.

Load your save into the modding tool and complete whatever you want to change and add.

Once again delete the game save file off of your ps3 and move the modded game save back to your ps3.

Load up payday, and once again, play offline so that the patch doesn't install. Make sure that all your modding worked the way you wanted.

Quit the game and load it up again and let the patch get installed.

Once download is complete, load the game up and your mods will be working in the newly patched version.
