Have you ever known that person who cares only for themselves? Im sure you have.

They want the attention all on them, and they only care about self benefit.

This is incredibly annoying especially on sports teams.

I am on multiple soccer teams, and bowling teams, and I have noticed that there are a few people who could care less of how the team was doing if they were doing bad....

My personal example :
During my high school bowling season, we get points based off how good we did individually against everyone bowling at that match that day. Best person gets 10 pts, 2nd gets 9, and so on, at the end of the season the top 5 people in the conference get honored as "all conference team" basically the best of the area.
So this girl on my team who has a bad attitude always bowls 200 or so and gets mad when everyone else on her team bowls like 220, because she gets less points. She asked specifically if this next match counted for points and it didn't, so when she bowled a 150 she didnt care. I called her out for it, and she relized I "caught" her for playing the selfish game...

My whole point:
A team means help your team, and in return it will help yourself.

Dont help yourself thinking in return it will help your team, because I can guarantee that is not how it works.

I see it during soccer as well consider ball hogging another way of looking at this.
