Yes, i agree people do buy apple products to show they have a pretty big bank balance, i choose to buy products i like to use

I am going to disagree on that remark because i think people have the money why cant they buy and iPhone 3,4, 5. Im just saying you might not have the money and they do don't get mad because they use them and maybe people get them to show off but that does not mean everyone does that.And any apple product does not mean people buy it to show of so i don't see why you need to rant about this that just means you are jealous that they have one and you don't that is what i think.

i have an iphone not to show off just because i like the iphone running system better than andriod. easier to use for me

I have not once showed off my iPod touch or seen any one showing apple products off, sure it's expensive but a lot of people use them the way they are suppose to be used, I use my iPod touch everyday, if I bring it out to look at the time or change my music then I hope no one think im showing it off. People who show off expensive stuff is just rude but you don't have to acknowledge them.

I owned an iPhone because it was much easier to use.
When I grew up and learned more about phones I got an Galaxy S3. I own an iPod Classic (more music) and a MacBook. I got the Macbook as a graduation gift. I have a windows PC and yes they're better in some parts but I'd rather edit videos on my MacBook. This is just like XBOX vs PS3 lets all calm down here.

When it comes to computers macs are really over priced especially when you could build a hackntosh for less and have they joys of PC and Mac..

But when it comes to phones I got an iPhone because I was familiar with the whole setup from owning a iPod touch, and I wasn't trying to make myself better it was just a personal preference from upgrades. (suffle<touch<iPhone)

I have an iPhone 5 because it was free on upgrade for me. I work in airport security and have to put my phone through x-ray and get it out in front of lots of people all the time, I dont push it in peoples faces, but youd be surprised in the first month of it coming out how many people actually WANT you to show them it.

I prefer it anyway, as I fell to apple's hype in the 3GS days, and would prefer not to spend money on the same apps again on a different platform.

Both my iPhone and iPad are jailbroken, so the argument you get more out of your android is a little bit less valid, as there is an incredible amount of stuff out there that it can do once its jailbroken.

Edit: Also, Apple products are usually only valid for showing off within the first month of their release, so its not the end of the world, the people who do show off only have 4 weeks a year

Just because I have an iPhone doesn't mean Im rich by any means, Im far from rich

i just recently lost my phone (it was an old iphone 3gs so was nothing to show off) so when i lost it i was looking for a new phone and chose the iphone 5 just because i had an iphone before so it was the easiest thing for me to do.. i could have chose an android phone but i like how their software is, they are easy to use and the music layout is basically like having n ipod and itunes is great that people without an apple product even use itunes!
