Hey there, so i recently go a new monitor, which has only a VGA input. I currently am running on an XFX 8800GT, which has two DVI-I outputs(capable of both digital and analog output from what I understand), and have a 22" monitor on the one of the DVI outputs, using a digital signal. If I get a DVI-I to VGA adapter, and plug the 17" in to that, will I still be getting the digital signal to the 22"?

Yes.
I know from personal experience. I have a GTX 550ti and my main monitor is DVI and my second is VGA, but both outputs on the card are DVI.
If you look at your video card there should be 4 pins surrounding the horizontal bar. If there is than you have DVI-I and that's what you want.
