Depends what your using either for. Studios are only good if you actually use them in a "studio", as in not using them for ipod, iphone etc. I have studios and i use them for my DJ Equipment and they are amazing. But pros are good for anything. They kick with iphones and stuff like that. But if your lookin for better price, get a nice pair of xones. Great quality.

Nobody in their right mind would use Beats for anything involved with monitoring or production. Not even once.

OP, buy some good headphones. Beats are not good headphones. What's your budget and what kind of music do you like? I'm going to assume you like the design of the Beats.

Yea pretty much, it's kinda ironic walking around or going to the gym with flimsy looking headphones and I like to have a great pump that's where my music comes In budget is around 250-300

If you're actually working out and not just doing curls the whole time, I wouldn't recommend anything but an in-ear headphone. Running and working out with over and on-ear headphones is just not a great experience. If you decide to get an IEM, I'd recommend the Shure SE215. It's nice and bassy, comfortable, durable, well-designed for running/working out, and the isolation is superb. Pretty much the perfect fitness headphone as I see it. Crunches and step-ups with full-size headphones on? Yeah... I'd laugh at you to be honest.

But if you want something that's portable, durable, good looking, and in every way better than Beats but designed with the same purpose in mind, have a look at the V-Moda LP2.

There are plenty more options, but I find that the LP2 is the best Beats killer.
