Lacuna wrote Everyone I just want to caution you to have the best of anti virus if you are browsing the web on unknown/untrusted sites. I was on YouTube and clicked on a link next thing I know a FBI thing pops up and says I have been looking at child porn/zoophilia, and committing terrorist acts. Luckily I knew about this and could fix it but I just wanted to post this to help everyone and to let you know that it is still out there!
So all we do is either restore to factory settings or put it back to and earlier date?

To get it off yes but that won't completely get rid of it because it is an adaptive virus. To completely get rid of it there are 3 ways. Command Prompt, Safe Mode, or get an expert to do it for you.

Yes, there is a link on the first page that tells about the virus if you or someone you know has it and something about a company or whatever called ic3 to help you get it off. Not sure if it is free or not..

You really have to know what you are doing and know your way around computers to be able to use command prompt to do stuff. But it is one of the most versatile things you can use. From virus scans, formatting, getting ip's, and so much more it's unbelievable.

I know how to use command prompt, but you can't virus scan from the cmd. I just really dont see how it would help you.

My stepdad is a computer programmer has been for like 30 years lol but he taught me some stuff and you can use it to clear your system cache, reboot the drive, reset it, then go through safe mode to clean the virus out.
