Glad wrote Thanks for all the help!
I suggest using kmeaw. Its better if you plan to have more stable packages for better usage and if you plan to backup games to play them from the hdd

Tbh, its really easy, all you nee to do is make a folder on your usb called PS3 then inside tht folder make one called UPDATE then leave that open , then download a cfw prerabbely geohots then put that into the ipdate folder, plug usb into ps3 update via storage media ( on your 3.55) then its jailbroken ;)

Actually id like to add geohots isnt all that stable. Use kmeaw's cfw on 3.55, you can use more packages and you can play from backup games

BloodyPuppet69 wrote Step 1:
Make a folder on your desktop called 'PS3'

Step 2:
Make another folder INsIDE of the folder 'PS3' called 'UPDATE'

Step 3:
Download the 'CFW / Jailbreak' from below.

Step 4:
Unzip the 'Jailbreak.zip' till you get a file called 'PS3UPDAT.PUP'

Step 5:
Next open the first folder you made 'Ps3' then open the 'UPDATE' folder inside that
and drag and drop the 'PS3UPDAT.PUP'

Step 6:
Insert the 2.0 USB memory device [2.0GB+]

Step 7:
Drag the 'PS3' file with the other files inside it.

Step 8:
Put the USB into the PS3.

Step 9:
Navigate to settings tab

Step 10:
Choose 'System update'

Step 11:
Choose 'Update via storage media'

Step 12:
It will say it 'found Version 3.55-jb

Step 13:
Choose 'Ok'

Step 14:
Accept Conditions and Install Update

Step 15:
After less than a minute, your PS3 will update, beep 4 times then shut down.
(Dont touch it)

Step 16:
Power up your PS3
(You will have to do it on the console and not by the controller)

Step 17:
Your PS3 is now jailbroken!
That does seem hard when you put it like that do i have to have a certain kinda of ps3?
this is a quite simple thing to do, not complicated at all
