Synopsis:

The game is set in Aztec Mexico. The objective of Zuma is to eliminate all of the balls rolling around the screen along a given path, with other balls (the path is clearly visible in all of the levels except the last level), before these balls reach the yellow skull structure, which will open to varying degrees as a warning of oncoming balls

Game Modes:

Adventure Mode:

During adventure mode players must beat levels to unlock the final 13th level. Each level gets increasingly more difficult then the last. The game is set in ancient Aztec times and your often in environments that look like old aztec ruins. Each couple levels they add more colors to the sets of balls making it a lot more difficult. The final level is in space and is extrememly hard to beat. Adventure mode is fun to play and seeing all the levels leading up to space is quite amusing.

Gauntlet Mode:

In Gauntlet mode you play the levels you've already beaten in adventure mode but with endless balls coming at you. They gradually increase in speed and diversity of colors. Your goal in these modes is to fill the yellow bar to unlock the next difficulty.

Gameplay:

The gameplay is very fun and addictive. Your goal is to shoot balls of a color into the same color balls on the string. Once combined 3 or more of the same color they will break and the string will get shorter. Your goal is to break all the balls before the string reaches you. I thought this was a very fun game. I think anyone of any age would be able to play and enjoy this game.

Graphics:

The graphics are not good but perfect for the game. Its all drawn, no 3D effects or anything like that. The graphics are effective for the game and smooth. I don't think this game needs advanced graphics and possibly is a better game without them.

Controls:

The controls are fun and easy to pick up on. My little brother could pick up the controller and easily play this, same with my grandma. They are very simple with just moving the center around and shooting whatever color ball you have at the balls of the similar color. The controls are perfect for the game and I've never had a problem with them.

Wow... you review tons of games, even lesser known ones like Zuma! But anyways, when I first got this game on Xbox live I could not put it down! It was a great game, although very challenging in the later stages... I give it an 8!
