Hey guys. I'm bored again and decided to type this. This is written by me, -Makarov- on TTG so if this is copied and pasted, please know that this is the original. I got this information from the Call of Duty Wiki, (I did not copy and paste anything. Mostly got ranks and dates anyway.) the Modern Warfare games, and the Journal of Captain John "Soap" MacTavish that I recieved in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Hardened Edition.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
The Story

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
The year 2011. An Russian Ultranationalist named Imran Zakhaev claims that he is going to return Russia to it's former Soviet Rule. Meanwhile Sergeant John "Soap" MacTavish is fresh out of Selection in the British Special Air Services. He is the "F***ing New Guy" and meets Lieutenant Gaz and Captain Price. He has a brief training session with Gaz about weapons, pistols, knives, and aiming. After he completes this, he is instructed to complete the C.Q.B. test solo in under one minute. He runs the test and makes it in 54.8 seconds his first run. He keeps on running the coarse until he beats Gaz's score of 19 seconds. The S.A.S. team, known as Bravo Team, are on a mission to intercept a cargo ship in the Bering Strait and have the objectives of; 1. Secure the Package. 2. Collect Intel. They clear the ship and find a nuclear device with Arabic and Russian writing. Soap grabs the manifest just before two enemy MiGs open fire on the ship and it starts sinking. Bravo Team makes their way top side and all make it into the helicopter except for Soap who has to jump from the bridge to the helicopter and nearly misses and is caught by Price. He makes note to buy him a bottle of Oban 14 for Price on leave. Bravo Team is able to translate the Russian writing and find that the delivery if from the New Russia Commerce, INTL. and was sent to Tigers of Revolution and was paid by Khaled Al-Asad. Meanwhile, in an unnamed middle eastern country, Khaled Al-Asad executes president Yasir Al-Fulani on live television. Bravo Team is then sent to rescue Code-Name Nikolai, a Russian Informant. They are assisted by Russian Loyalist Sergeant Kamarov. During this, United States Marines are sent to the unnamed middle eastern country to find and capture Al-Asad. Sergeant Paul Jackson, Lieutenant Vasquez, Staff Sergeant Griggs, and the rest of their team of Marines breach and clear a safehouse in the town they are clearing. They then get intel that Al-Asad is broadcasting the execution from a broadcasting station further in the town. They clear the station and find that it was only a recording and shut off the broadcast. The team then help a Abrams Tank, "War Pig," which is stuck in a bog and under heavy fire from the OpFor. They push the OpFor back and destroy the anti-air gun so a Support Helicopter can open fire on the OpFor. Meanwhile, part of Bravo Six, Gaz, Soap, Price, and the rescued Nikolia, are in a helicopter flying over enemy territory and are shot down. The pilots die on impact but the rest of the passengers are uninjured. They make their way past the search teams and eventually open fire to save a farmer from execution. They make their way through the farms and fend off Russians and attack dogs. (Soap makes note in his journal that he is now a cat person. lol) Price, Gaz, Soap, and Nikolia meet up with the rest of Bravo Team and are assisted by an AC-130H Specter Gunship which supports them in crossing a town and junkyard to a extraction helicopter. Sergeant Jackson, the rest of his team, and the now operational Abrams are under fire from more OpFor in the bog. The Marines fight back and push the OpFor back into the city with the help of the Abram's gun. They clear the city of OpFor and are extracted by a helicopter. Later on the Marines and other military forces are sent on a massive assault on the capital city in an final attempt to capture or kill Al-Asad. Jackson is the gunner of their helicopter using a Mk 19 Grenade Launcher to support ground forces. They helicopter sets down and the Marines go to help other stranded Marines under fire from more OpFor. After assisting the Marines, Jackson's team return to their helicopter. They are warned that their could be a nuclear device in the city and NEST teams are sent to try to defuse the threat. Another helicopter, codenamed "Deadly," is shot down and the team attempts to rescue the trapped pilot. They are warned that if they do, they won't be the safe minimum distance in case the nuclear device goes off. They rescue the pilot anyway. While on the helicopter and exiting the city, the nuclear device goes off and the helicopter crashes. Later, Jackson wakes up and crawls out of the crashed helicopter. He whiteness buildings falling and the aftermath of the explosion. He soon dies from radiation or from his wounds from the crash. Griggs is the only member who survived, because he was evacuated before the bomb went off. Bravo Six is then sent to capture Al-Asad in his safehouse in Azerbaijan with the help of Kamarov. They clear the buildings that Al-Asad could be in until they find him in the final building. Price beats Al-Asad in the interrogation into telling who supplied him the bomb. Al-Asad's phone rings and Price answers to find that Imran Zakhaev supplied Al-Asad. Price hangs up the phone and shoots Al-Asad in the head. Soap notes in his journal that he isn't ashamed, or proud of interrogating Al-Asad. Price has flashback to 1996 when he was a Lieutenant and under the command of Captain MacMillan. He and MacMillan were sent on the first assassination mission authorized by the British Government since WWII. They are sent after Zakhaev who is having a meeting with a rich Ultranationalist arms dealer. The pair crawl through the countryside wearing ghillie suits and silently sniping enemies. They make their way through a large group of Ultranationalists with tanks and even have to run past many enemies and crawl under cars within inches of enemies. They make their way to abandoned hotel and set up a sniper nest to watch the meeting take place. Price, armed with a .50 caliber sniper rifle, gets a positive ID on Zakhaev and takes one shot at him. He blows Zakhaev's arm off and then takes out an enemy helicopter with the .50 cal. The two repel from the top of the building right before it is shot with missiles. They run past multiple enemies and are eventually cornered by a helicopter. The two shoot the pilot who crashes his helicopter into the ground nearly killing Price and injuring MacMillan's leg. Price carries MacMillan through the town and sets him down to defend the highground while waiting for extraction. They manage to fend the enemy off until the helicopter arrives to pick them up. In the present, Bravo Six fights against the oncoming Russians up the hill to the farm where they killed Al-Asad. Soap takes a Javelin and fires rockets at enemy tanks. The team's extract helicopter, "Big Bird," radios them telling them to fight back down the hill for extraction. They eventually make their way to the helicopter and are successfully extracted. Bravo Team, now teamed up with Force Recon Marines, attempt to capture Zakhaev's son, Victor. They make their way to a village in Russia and attack an outpost the Victor would be passing through. They kill all of the enemies and take their uniforms. They ambush Victor's motorcade and Victor crashes his vehicle into the guard tower where Soap and Griggs are. Soap and Griggs case Victor through the village and into a hotel where they meet up with the rest of Bravo Team. They chase him to the roof of the hotel and corner him on the edge. They order him to drop his pistol and Soap is ordered to take his weapon. When Soap approaches Victor, he shoots himself in the head. Zakhaev is outraged that his son is dead and threatens to launch ICBMs at America if they don't pull out all troops from Russian soil. The team make a parachute drop above enemy territory and Griggs misses the landing zone. He is taken hostage by the Ultranationalists. The rest of the joint operations team makes their way to the building Griggs is being held in and rescues him. The team goes and knocks out the power to the ICBM facility and make their way to the facility itself. They meet up with an American Sniper team just as two ICBMs are launched towards the United States. They attach the facility making their way through the air vents to the underground portion of the facility. They fight their way to the control room and Soap types the abort codes to the missiles and successfully aborts the missiles flight and they detonate harmlessly over the Atlantic Ocean. The group attempts to escape using enemy jeeps and make their way onto the highway. Soap fights off enemy vehicles and attempts to take out an enemy helicopter with an RPG-7. They make their way to a bridge which is destroyed by the helicopter and they almost fall into the valley below. They attempt to fight off the oncoming forces and request extraction. Baseplate denies and leaves the team. Sergeant Kamarov radios them saying he would provide extraction in three minutes. However, a helicopter shoots missiles at the bridge and knocks the wind out of Soap. Griggs drags him back to safety and protects him with his SAW LMG. He is soon shot in the head. Zakhaev appears and executes Gaz and his guards execute two other Bravo Team members. The helicopter that launched the missiles is shot down by a Loyalist helicopter and Zakhaev is distracted and Price slides his Colt M.1911 pistol to Soap who picks it up and shoots Zakhaev and his guards. Kamarov arrives and gives Soap first aid and tells him he is going to be alright. He is put on a stretcher and lifted up into a helicopter. As he is being lifted up, he sees an unconscious Price and a Loyalist trying to revive him. The UN and Russians cover up the nuclear threat by stating that Russia simply had nuclear tests that fell in with UN regulation. They also covered up the cargo ship being sunk by MIGs by saying it was lost at sea in a storm.

Price and the Gulag
It is still uncertain if price was captured then and put into the Gulag or if he was revived successfully and was put in the gulag when he was injured on Operation Kingfish. Their is evidence supporting both theories. In Soap's journal, it seems that Price was lost and presumed dead because he states that he lost Griggs, Gaz, Mac. and "of course Price." However the live action short "Operation Kingfish" was written by IW writers and the photo at the end of the MW3 campaign says Operation Kingfish- 10/3/13 (Or something like that.) And includes Ghost, who was only apart of the team after Soap had fully recovered.

Soap Between MW1 and MW2
Soap is recovering in Russia. He makes remarks in his journal about the "crap chow," reading about Glasgow FC vs watching on TV, and his speed of recovery. He fights boredom and thinks about who he's lost. He thinks that Gaz's family deserves to know what really happened. He focuses on trying to get better and stronger than before, and that the Russian women don't help. He also carries Price's pistol. After he has recovered, he returns to Credenhill, the base where he took the C.Q.B. test and the training session with Gaz, and begins training to get back to 100% fit. He runs with Selection Candidates and sets up a daily regiment. On leave, he goes to Hereford Racecourse to watch the races. He remarks how he is still in a daze and didn't focus on the race. On his way back to Credenhill he stops by a tobacco shop and picks up some of Price's favorite cigars, Villa Clara's. He wonders if horses didn't work, that maybe smoking will. He remarks on how smooth they are and Price's good taste. General Shepherd arrives on base and recruits Soap for Task Force 141. He remarks how this is his second commanding officer with a "caterpillar" mustache. He also remarks if it's destiny. It is possible that Soap created the TF141 logo, as he is an excellent drawer, and doodles the logo in his journal. He begins evaluating recruits for the task force. He makes note of how he likes Gary "Roach" Sanderson. He states that reminds him of what he must of looked like coming out of Selection. He also states how he finds another keeper Ghost. He writes that he can't get over the name though. Writing; "What the hell kind of name is Ghost?" Shepherd makes new acronyms which Soap writes down. Here it is confirmed that the character in the Epilogue of Cod4 is Soap, because he writes down details about the VIP, the strategy of breaching the airplane, and even about joining "The Mile High Club."

This alone took me a long time to write so please leave a Thank and a reply. I will continue to update when I can. I have a busy weekend so will do my best. Thanks guys.

Sorry I haven't updated recently, but I don't think anyone really cared about this. If you guys post telling me to do more, I will.

DO NOT Read the first comment if you have not finished the MW3 campaign. The assh*le spoils the game if you read it.

What do you mean? If you're talking about the guy who commented about people who may or may not have died then I already finished it anyway.
