Ok so me and my sister share a account on minecraft and we have done that for months, but recently i havn't been able to log in and update to 1.8 because im on 1.7.3

I made a backup of my files in .minecraft so i could try and log in on a fresh minecraft but when i sign in it says the password is wrong but it isn't as my sister uses the same password and it lets her sign in,

Please help as i want to update:)

Go on the internet and find a minecraft.jar file that is at version 1.8.1?
