Hey i was wondering if anyone could help me with this problem ive had this headset for just over a year now, the problem being every time i touched the wire (one in the picture) i heard a crackle in my head phones then my friends couldn't hear me and then once i moved it again they could...... so i decided to take it apart to check the wires, the soldering etc.. and everything was fine so is this a normal fault or does someone have any help for me ??

i used to have x11's then i smashed them because they suck so i bought astros

It's static charge in the wire.

Manufacturing fault. Too much power from the xbox going into the turtle beaches. If you know any electricians, try and get a decent resistor installed, this should reduce the power in the turtle beaches and thus your problem will be solved.

It's just a wire shortage. Unless you know how to replace the wire
I would just recommend getting either x31 or x41. Both are very good

same problem happened to me with the x12, it just were youve chewed or squashed the cabeling.
