Recently my friend and I bought world at war from steam to play custom zombie maps and all that fun stuff. My game loaded fine and all that good stuff but when he tries to create an online profile it loops back to make him create it and keep going so on. He has tried everything: rename the $$$ folder to his name, use account creators, etc. etc. Does anyone know an actual solution to this? I know a few people with this issue. He has reinstalled the game 4 times.

EDIT: SOLVED IT!
Here is step by step exactly how I solved the issue. and trust me i thought i did it before too.

1. Uninstall WaW via your control panel
2. after its uninstalled from your computer you have to delete the hidden files that stay there after uninstall.
You can find the files at
C:\Users\(YOURNAME)\AppData\Local\Activision\CoDWaW <-- delete the entire "CoDWaW" Folder
then go to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty World at War <-- Delete the Call of Duty World at War folder.
3. Go back into steam and re install the game
4. Once installed load up SINGLE PLAYER and it will ask you to make a profile
5. Choose your name and from there it should most likely work.

This has solved it 3 times to people that have had this issue. It works pretty well if you follow exactly.
