So, I had a friend pick out PC parts for me, and I've bought almost all of them. I just need my graphics card, and my case, both of which are being bought on Friday.

The case that he picked out is I guess a micro case. My question is this; if all the parts he picked out fit into this micro case, can I buy any larger case and they'll still fit? Or would I possibly run into compatibility issues?

I haven't decided on a bigger case yet, but I would like to get a different one than the one he had chosen. If I need to provide list of parts I have in order for anybody to find a bigger compatible one I can do that.

ATX cases will always have a place for a MATX board. You might need to re-arrange the standoffs in the case though to accommodate this. I can't recall of the top of my head, you might be alright.

The only problem I can see with this is that an MATX motherboard and a ATX case just looks weird. If you don't care about looks, you go ahead but there are a few decent small cases out there.

The case that he originally picked out is small. I wanted to upgrade to a bigger and better looking case. I wasn't looking for another smaller case. So will I still be good?
