I currently have a webcam which is 720p and is okay but I'm wondering would it be worth paying abit like £50 more for 1080p one or is there not much difference

I also have a snowball mic which is doing the job but I'm wondering if it's worth picking yeti up or is not much difference for the extra money involved

i use logitech c920 which 1080. if you a small streamer on twitch you will be streaming in 720 so you don't need a new webcam.

edit: I also have a blue snowball. Don't purchase the blue yeti.

Can you tell a big difference between 720p and 1080p?

Motto: "Try not to become a man of success but a man of value" | PM me if you need any help.
Just stick with the current webcam you're using especially if you're just a small streamer. There's barely a difference between 1080p and 720p, which is definitely noticeable but in your situation isn't a big deal. As for your current microphone setup: keep it. I also have a snowball and my viewers hear me just fine when I stream. Hope this helped if you ever need any help feel free to shoot me a PM.

Great advice thank you I was curious to whether it'd be worth investing in slightly better equipment but clearly there's no point especially the cost for very little improvement

I'd grow your equipment at the same rate your followers are growing, if you're small atm don't try and spend a lot of money. Especially if you want a career out of this.
