Details:
Developer(s):: Radmir Kadyrov
Platform(s): Steam
Release: July 4th 2018
Mode(s): Single Player

Overview/Synopsis:
Exposure is a story-driven first-person survival horror. Find the connection between your wife's death and the mysteries of the past, but be careful on the road to the truth you can expect anything.

Gameplay:
Exposure is a very short (roughly 15-20 minutes long) single player horror/exploration game where you search for clues around various houses to finally get the answers you have been searching for. Since Exposure was developed by a single person using Unreal Engine. Now, it's hard to go into too much depth without giving anything away, but if this game was longer, it could be a great horror game to play. Combined with the Unreal Engine graphics and physics, it really does feel realistic and fairly tense to play. The house design is pretty generic, but the level of detail they are in is amazing and goes to show how powerful the engine used can be when put into practice. The story was okay, but for such a short game you couldn't really go into too much detail without dragging things out too much and potentially making it boring. One thing I will say that would have made this 10 times better, is having a little bit of backstory as to what you're looking for. But it's not required as it's a good all rounder from the start.

Graphics:
Exposure uses the Unreal Engine and looks stunning while doing so. The game supports pretty much any resolution and aspect ratio you can think of and has lots of customisation settings to make it run perfectly on almost any computer. The depth the engine gives and the level of detail definitely make this game what it is, without them, it would most probably be boring to play as you're always looking around the houses to find those hidden clues.

Controls:
Controls are as expected, the only controls you need are basic movements and action buttons. They can be remapped if wanted, but really there is no point. The movement in the game is very slow with only slight mouse input needed at the best of times. The game has partial controller support for those people not very fond of using keyboards, but for the relatively slow pace of the game, it will be a good place to learn for the inexperienced.

System Requirements (PC):

OS: Windows 10 64-bit
Processor: Core i5 2.8 Ghz
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: Nvidia GTX 660 or AMD Radeon HD 7870
DirectX: Version 11
