Recently, my connection to almost anything on my PC has been terrible. Webpages 10+ second loading times, videos constantly buffering and then sometime I cant even connect to websites. I have a fairly new external wifi card I bought summer 2017, and my router is a Netgear nighthawk X6S. I purchased one of the Wall outlet to ethernet things hoping that will work as an ethernet cable would be to long from my roouter to PC.

Firstly, is it you or something in your PC? Have you ran a speedtest found [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ? If not, run a speed test and make sure your speeds are close to what you are paying for internet wise. If they are, have you tried changing your DNS to something other than your ISP provided one? I recently switched to the cloudflare DNS and it is leagues above most other DNS services. If you still need help or need me to explain better feel free to post back here/shoot me a PM and I will be happy to help. Cheers.

Device manager > network adapters > *wireless card / ethernet driver* > right click > uninstall > reboot.

Windows updates to blame I bet, had about a million users ring me with the exact same issue you're having.

DNS is a good one, but wouldn't improve speeds that much. Bounce the connection as well and make sure your router has the latest firmware installed.
